PERFORMANCE AND TESTING
MagnaFlow’s extensive research and development process for the C8 Corvette led our engineers to create a specific set of a valves designed to interface seamlessly with C8’s OEM actuators valves to ensure proper functionality and reliability of the C8 under all driving conditions. Testing on both our in-house dyno and a specially designed valve test bench gave us the opportunity to develop this technology in a controlled environment for long-term reliability. Real world testing included logging miles on multiple vehicles in a variety of different operating conditions on the road and track. xMOD for the C8 delivers dyno-proven performance, weight savings, and the quality you expect from a MagnaFlow offering.
304 STAINLESS STEEL
The multi-metal construction of the new xMOD Series exhaust for the C8 Corvette is highlighted by the use of 304 Stainless Steel in the tubing, brackets, tips, valves and flanges of the system. This material choice enhances the appearance of the system while mitigating surface oxidation to ensure your MagnaFlow exhaust will retain an attractive appearance for years to come.

The MagnaFlow xMOD Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System with black chrome finish #19545 for the 2020-2021 Chevrolet Corvette C8 offers the modularity of MagnaFlow’s xMOD series in a compact package designed for high performance and durability. It took days of dyno and track testing to ensure that this exhaust kit does all this while enhancing the exhaust sound with our deep signature tone. MagnaFlow #19545 boosts the max power of your C8 by up to 18 hp and 17 lb. ft. of torque, with peak power gains of up to 12 hp and 13 lb. ft. of torque.† Easily switch between MagnaFlow’s xTreme Delete straight pipe modules or the C8-specific muffler modules. Both modules feature NDT (No Drone Technology), which cancels droning frequencies at cruising speeds. The C8’s optional bi-modal exhaust feature also carries over to our xMOD system and retains its full functionality. A valve delete option is included for vehicles without that feature. This kit features 3” mandrel bent tubing, V-band clamps, a Tru-X crossover pipe section, bi-modal exhaust valves, optional valve deletes, swappable xMOD modules and a quad-split rear exit with 4.5” black chrome finished tips. It was created using CNC precision robotic manufacturing and is covered by a limited lifetime warranty and one-year finish warranty. Revised aluminum shielding is used to draw heat away more quickly, and three custom-made heat shield wraps are provided for vital components. 304 stainless steel is used in construction because heat blues it nicely. Exhaust kit #19545 is engineered to bolt on easily. †Reported wheel power figures measured on MagnaFlow’s in-house dynamometer with a US Spec 2020 Chevrolet C8 with the GM Performance Exhaust, using SAE correction and smoothing and an average of multiple runs. Results may vary depending upon environmental conditions, vehicle trim level, and vehicle health, operating conditions, temperatures, fuel grade, dyno type, dyno setup, and other variables.
